Nouria Bah - Don B4 (Peach Records)

Nouria Bah is an audio engineer, producer and artist who combines her love of close harmonies, silly puns and catchy basslines to create bricolage-like grooves.

With roots in Senegal/Guinea, Nouria grew up in the US before moving to London in 2011. Since then, she has taken part in various experimental/indie projects and programmes including: Deep Throat Choir, The Swarm, Future Bubblers, Sun & Sea: Marina and Lina Lapelytė: In The Dark, We Play. She has also performed at award winning festivals including We Out Here & EFG London Jazz Festival.

Her debut EP "Don B4" and single "Sawtooth Ruler" has received widespread acclaim, including a spot on BBC Radio 6, Bandcamp’s New & Notable list, airplay from Tony Minvielle, China Moses, and YolanDa Brown on Jazz FM, and a creative grant from The White Pube who described her music as "like listening to two hands holding each other, tender, loving, careful, overlapped.”
