‘Visceral' - the 7th single in the Song Athletics singles series is from cellist Zara Hudson-Kozdój.
Taking inspiration from the poetry of Tracey Emin, the transportive 8-minute piece entitled ‘Visceral’ immerses the listener in a rich, layered, melancholic world of cello, synth and found sounds from niche YouTube sleep videos of crackling fires that Zara's own sleep troubles led her to. The single arrives just ahead of Zara's sample pack release on Song ‘Hello Cello’.
