Recording Notes

RUINER enables you to combine and apply 8 destruction effects to an incoming signal:

Stutter - beat repeater where dial controls probability and rate of repeat.

Granular - dial controls a custom-grain manipulation which increases in complexity.

Compress - a punchy compressor, where dial controls threshold.

Bit Crush - stepped control from 16 bits down to 8 bit.

Harmonic Distortion - dial controls combination of dry/wet and drive.

Overdrive - dial controls amount of modelled diode clipping.

Tape - Dial controls combination of dry/wet and various degradation options of the tape model.

Static - dial controls amount of combined static noise sources: originally-sourced analogue circuit noise and vinyl surface noise.

The mix control allows you to define the overall blend between the original and affected signal.
